The new VTU showed up in the mail today, and buried in the editorial was a
mention of a new version of LW that will be shown at NAB and will ship soon
afterwords (according to the article). Among the listed features are full
Open GL support, better bones and IK, super fast "interactive" operation
(whatever the hell that means), and "plus lots more!"

I'm looking forward to seeing it, and finding out just what "plus lots
more!" actually means. For those who won't be attending the show, I'll be
posting a complete report on all the stuff I see on my web site when I
return from the show. I'm sure I'll post a shorter message just about LW to
this list, if anyone's interested.
